MEDIATION - WORKPLACE or COmmercial

Think of the mediator as a guide with a roadmap through your dispute. You and the other party will be responsible for doing lots of work but a good mediator will be there to provide an effective structure for your negotiation with a persistent belief in your ability to find the solution. By creating a procedure for dialogue and emphasising forward momentum, a mediator can make possible a discussion between you and the other side which focuses on problem solving. Mediation is particularly well suited to disputes where issues can involve more than coming up with a number.
Mediation is a process which places you at the centre. If you have a dispute, mediation will give you a process which is creative, constructive and helps you keep control.
You may have provided for mediation as the dispute choice in your contract or agreement with the other side. If a dispute arises and your agreement does not provide for mediation, you can still agree with the other side to mediate your dispute.
